Revelation 21:1–8

After the final judgment, God will create a new universe to replace the one He “uncreated” (Revelation 20:11). This “new heaven and new earth” (21:1) is the future hope of all who know and love the Lord Jesus Christ. All the things which cause us grief and sorrow will be no more . . . it will be filled with what we were created to enjoy: the presence of God.
